EXAMPLE SCOPE OF WORK RICK is a full -service civil design firm with in-house resources that include: ♦ Civil Engineering ♦ Transportation/Traffic Engineering ♦ Land surveying and Mapping ♦ Land Planning, including Financial and Economic Analysis ♦ Landscape Architecture ♦ Storm Water Resources Engineering ♦ Wet Utility Design Through subconsultant services, our team provides: v Domestic water and fire water systems analysis and design ♦ Environmental ♦ Geotechnical ♦ Dry Utility Coordination Through additional specialists, as a task order requires, and at the approval of the City we work with specialists that provide: ♦ Architectural ♦ Mechanical ♦ Electrical Right -of -Way Acquisition Services RICK understands that task orders for on -call contracts can include a variety of sub projects, such as intersection improvements, roadway improvements including walkable and bikeable streets, utility and drainage improvements, we chose to provide an example scope of work and schedule for a typical roadway improvement project. Our example includes many of the above work specialties, but not all of them. If the City desires, RICK can provide additional example scope of works and schedules for projects that are comprised of different tasks than included here. Generic Scope of Services for a Typical Intersection/Roadway Improvement Project In our example project, we added a second eastbound to northbound left -turn lane, and an eastbound to southbound dedicated right -turn -only lane at the subject intersection. This work requires the acquisition of right-of-way at the southwest quadrant of the intersection. The work also requires a modification to the existing traffic signal, as well as dry utility coordination for relocations.
