34 <br />ARTICLE X <br /> <br />10.0 VACATION <br /> <br /> <br />10.1 Vacation. <br /> <br />A. An employee who has completed less than one year's service during the calendar <br />year shall receive a proportionate fraction in accordance with the amount of service <br />to their credit during the year; provided, however, no employee shall be entitled to <br />use any vacation until they has completed six (6) months of continuous service. <br /> <br />C. On or after the first (1st) day of the month following completion of six (6) months <br />of continuous full-time service, an employee may be allowed to take all or a <br />proportionate fraction of their earned vacation, subject to scheduling approval of <br />the employee's supervisor. <br /> <br />D. Absence on sick leave for a period in excess of fifteen (15) consecutive calendar <br />days shall not be considered as service for vacation accrual purposes.
