The Project Report will determine the feasibility and selected <br />alternative for a wastewater collection system, wastewater treatment plant, and <br />groundwater replenishment injection well system for the Los Olivos Community <br />Services District (LOCSD). The unincorporated Los Olivos community in Santa <br />Barbara County manages its wastewater with onsite wastewater treatment <br />systems (septic tanks) on private parcels. LOCSD was seeking to develop a <br />comprehensive wastewater collection and treatment system with provision for <br />beneficial use of its treated wastewater. Once completed, the project will eliminate surcharge issues in <br />the existing sewer line and provide additional sewer capacity for much needed <br />housing development. <br />$3M <br />Awarded
