Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA SB-1) - These funds are apportioned by <br />formula to eligible cities and counties for basic road maintenance, rehabilitation, and critical <br />safety projects on the local streets and roads system. <br />Sanitary Sewer Capital - A portion of Sewer Utility Charges is dedicated to offset the costs of <br />maintaining the City's extensive system of sanitary sewer infrastructure. <br />Select Street Construction Funds - Comprised of State Gas Tax and County Gas Tax funding this <br />fund includes all new work, reconstruction, widening or traffic improvements done on the "Select <br />Street System" of the City. <br />Sewer Connection Fees — All monies received by the City as a fee for connection to the public <br />sewers are deposited into the Sewer Connection Fee Fund for the construction of sewers. <br />State Resources Agency Grant (CA Resources Agency Grant) - The California Natural Resource <br />Agency Grants administer various grant programs designed to restore, protect, and manage the <br />state's natural, historical and cultural resources. <br />Transportation System Improvement Area Fund (Area Fees) - Transportation Area Fees are <br />charged to new development to offset the cost of transportation system improvements within <br />area adjacent to the cities of Orange and Tustin. <br />Water Utility Capital Fund (Acquisition & Construction) - The City charges a user fee for providing <br />water services to residents and businesses in Santa Ana. All monies are used to fund operating <br />and maintenance costs, as well as capital improvements of the City's water system. Approximately <br />10% to 20% of these funds are allocated to water system capital improvements each year. <br />95 <br />
