Attachment A - Joint Agreement for 800 MHz CCCS Page 74 of 83 <br />Protocol / Standard <br />Lead Agency staff performs comprehensive signal coverage test to evaluate the System's signal <br />strength and quality across the service area. The locations and number of individual test points <br />shall be based on the area's building density and known areas of poor coverage. <br />The results of each test will be compared to previous results and monitored for signal <br />degradation. Test results will be stored on a shared data server for historical comparisons. <br />Management <br />4 <br />The Lead Agency Director oversees the process, evaluates the results, develops remediation <br />strategies, and reports significant findings to the Governance Committee. <br />7.5 Repair Parts Inventory <br />Purpose or Objective <br />Establishes an inventory control procedure for infrastructure and subscriber repair parts. <br />It is the policy of the Lead Agency to ensure that planning is in place and available resources <br />identified to expedite the recovery of the System and related components in the case of <br />disaster, catastrophic failure or other major incident that affects operations of the System. <br />Operational Context <br />Lead Agency will maintain an inventory of spare parts for regular repairs to the System and <br />subscriber radios. <br />Protocol / Standard <br />The spare parts inventory for infrastructure and subscriber units shall be kept at Lead Agency <br />facilities for ready access when needed. <br />Management <br />The Lead Agency maintains and manages the repair parts inventory. <br />7.6 Disaster Recovery <br />Purpose or Objective <br />Establishes the minimum requirements for a System disaster recovery plan. <br />It is the policy of the Governance Committee and Lead Agency to ensure that planning is in <br />place and resources identified and available to expedite the recovery of the System and related <br />components in the case of disaster, catastrophic failure or other major incident that affects <br />operations of the System. <br />Operational Context <br />Lead Agency personnel will maintain a comprehensive plan for restoration of the System during <br />times of disaster.
