SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO THE <br />FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN <br />Substantial Amendment # 1 <br />8 SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO THE <br />FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN <br />11/2021 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />funds in the amount of $6,183,914 with a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the development of <br />affordable housing in the City. <br /> <br />The draft Substantial Amendment will be available for public review during normal business <br />hours from November 22, 2021 to December 6, 2021 in the following locations: Community <br />Development Agency, 20 Civic Center Plaza, 6th Floor; Office of the Clerk of the Council, 20 Civic <br />Center Plaza, Room 809; and the Main Public Library, 26 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, <br />California. The draft will also be available on the City’s website at: http://www.santa- <br />ana.org/cda. <br /> <br />Written comments to the draft Substantial Amendment may be filed with the Community <br />Development Agency any time before 5:30 p.m. on December 6, 2021 at the locations <br />mentioned above or by email at dflores@santa-ana.org. Persons interested in providing verbal <br />comments to the draft Substantial Amendment are notified to appear at the public hearing on <br />December 7, 2021 at 5:45 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 22 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana, California 92701. <br /> <br />Background on the Annual Action Plan: <br /> <br />The Annual Action Plan establishes the activities to address the priority needs and Strategic <br />Plan goals established in the City’s 5-year Consolidated Plan. The priority needs established in <br />the current Consolidated Plan are: 1) Expand the supply of affordable housing, 2) Preserve the <br />supply of affordable housing, 3) Access to and supply of public services, 4) Increase access to <br />and supply of homeless services and facilities, 5) Promote economic opportunity, and 6) <br />Improve City public facilities and infrastructure. More information on the Consolidated Plan and <br />the Annual Action Plan is available on the City’s website at www.santa-ana.org/cd <br /> <br />Meeting Time and Date – This matter will be heard on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 5:45 p.m. <br />or thereafter in the City Council Chamber, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California 92702. All <br />persons interested in this matter are notified to appear at this time. Note: Resolution No. 2021- <br />066, which allows for teleconferencing pursuant to AB 361, is set to expire on December 2, <br />2021.
