The City also <br />has the following permanent supportive housing units/projects: <br /> <br />Depot at Santiago 10 units <br />Santa Ana Arts Collective 15 units <br /> <br /> <br />The following permanent supportive units/projects are in the pipeline: <br /> <br />North Harbor Village 89 units <br />FX Residences 16 units <br />Legacy Square 33 units <br />Crossroads at Washington 43 units <br />Westview House 26 units <br /> <br /> <br />In addition, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana administers the following <br />tenant-based vouchers for people experiencing homelessness: <br /> <br />Mainstream Program Vouchers 231 <br />HUD-VASH Vouchers 171 <br />Foster Youth to Independence Vouchers 47 <br />Emergency Housing Vouchers 89 <br />The Housing Authority administers 2,754 Housing Choice Vouchers as of September <br />2021. <br />The ESG-funded HEART outreach team, City Net and Illumination Foundation <br />organizations provide outreach and engagement services in locations throughout the <br />City. The County also runs an emergency cold-weather shelter in Santa Ana during the <br />winter for approximately 200 individuals. <br />Other support services, such as job and training assistance, food assistance, and <br />counseling are also available to help individuals recover from homelessness and to <br />avoid becoming homeless. The City works closely with the Continuum of Care who <br />provides oversight for the Vulnerability Index - Service Prioritization Decision Assistance <br />Tool (VI-SPDAT) to prioritize the most vulnerable chronically homeless individuals. <br />Case management services are offered in all programs to help prevent individuals from <br />falling back into homelessness. <br />Non-homeless special needs populations require a variety of support services in order <br />to remain stable and out of the homeless systems/cycle.
