Totals may not add due to rounding. <br />THE CITY <br />General <br />The City is located in central Orange County (the “County”) and was incorporated on June 1, 1886 and <br />established as a charter city in 1952. The City encompasses approximately 27.3 square miles and had an <br />estimated 2021 population of approximately 331,269. <br />Several major freeways run through and nearby the City, providing access to employment centers and <br />recreational opportunities throughout southern California. <br />The City is a charter city, operating under a Council/Manager form of government.
