I I COVER LETTER
11 COVER LETTER
December 7, 2020
City of Santa Ana Police Headquarters
60 Civic Center Dr
Santa Ana, CA 92702
ATTN: Gabriela Lomeli
RE: City of Santa Ana - Facility HVAC Service, Maintenance and Repairs at Various City Facilities
Dear Ms. Lomeli,
On behalf of everyone at Envise, we are pleased to present this response to the City of Santa Ana Facility HVAC
Service, Maintenance, and Repairs Request for Proposal (RFP) 20-134. We hope the contents of this response clearly
communicate our commitment to you over the next three years and our dedication to service excellence.
Our parent company, Southland Industries, was founded in 1949 and formed Envise in 2015 specifically to better
support owners in all areas of their facility needs. Envise adopts a holistic approach to building solutions, ensuring our
clients receive world -class service.
At Envise, we believe that the true value of a company is calculated by the worth of its people; not by how much
revenue they earn, but by what they add through their individual talents, ethics and passion to support our culture. All
companies naturally create a culture of their own, but few make it the primary foundation of all that they do. Envise
intentionally built and continuously adapts its processes, standards of service, client experiences, and overall business
model based on our core values: innovation, integrity, transparency, relationships, collaboration, safety and fun. We
are pleased to see that we share three common core values with the City of Santa Ana: collaboration, innovation and
transparency. This alignment, combined with our extensive experience, demonstrates Envise's ability to effectively
serve the City as outlined in the RFP.
Safety is one of the core values that is intrinsically linked to our culture. We place safety at the forefront at all times to
avoid complacency, and are passionately committed to ensuring that all employees are provided with a safe and
healthy working environment. To accomplish this, we provide routine safety training, jobsite-specific training, safe
tools and equipment, and employ a dedicated staff of professional safety representatives. Our latest safety numbers
support this with an EMIR rating of 0.49. This attention to safety benefits the City of Santa Ana by reducing risk, giving
our clients confidence that we create the safest working environments possible for employees and community citizens.
With safety already a cornerstone of our business, all safety measures required by COVID-19 have been adopted
quickly and with the same dedication as previous protocols.
After reviewing the documents provided in combination with the findings from the job walk invitation, our team was
able to put great care and thought into creating the best strategy and approach to complete the scope of work
requested. A key component of our plan is the selection of Matt Popka as Project Manager, due to his extensive
knowledge of the City's facilities and his past experience managing the City's current sub -consultants. The involvement
of Mr. Popka and the current sub -consultants sets the stage for an easy transition. Envise is confident that our values,
experience and passion makes us the best partner for the City of Santa Ana. If we can be of any further assistance,
please feel free to contact me at 303.521.8916.
Sincerely,
Travis Fletcher (Authorized Representative)
Envise Branch Manager
303.521.8916 1 Tfletc her her@enviseco.com
Envise Proposal for City of Santa Ana - Facility HVAC Service, Maintenance and Repairs
