City of Knowledge School <br />Location: Pomona, CA <br />Client: City of Knowledge School <br />Size: 15,000 sf <br />Budget: $5 Million <br />Projection Completion: May <br />LOC Architects designed this 15,000 sf addition <br />and renovation to an existing Islamic K-12 parochial <br />school. The project, currently under construction will <br />include a new gym/assembly hall, new classrooms, a <br />ceramics studio, locker rooms, and restroom facilities <br />for both adults and students and serve a hub for the <br />local Islamic community . Working very closely with <br />the administration at the school, LOC developed a <br />language of architecture that spoke to the Islamic <br />roots of the school to create a sense of identity and <br />community for this organization.
