CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />XI. SELECTION PROCEDURES & CRITERIA <br />A. The City will establish a proposal review committee. The review committee will evaluate proposals <br />based on the response to the RFP, which includes adherence to outlined directions and format, <br />and the City evaluation criteria set forth below. A final score will be calculated for each submitted <br />proposal and used to rank the proposers. <br />B. Proposers will be ranked by the review committee based on the following criteria: <br />CATEGORY <br />POINTS <br />Firm/Team Experience <br />• Firm experience (Quantity/Similar Project/Scope of Service) <br />• Technical & design experience <br />15 <br />• Company's structure demonstrates sufficient depth, capacity for its <br />resent and additional workload <br />Understanding of Need <br />• Outline demonstrating the firm's understanding of the scope of work <br />• Anticipated approach <br />30 <br />• Task necessary for scuccessful competition <br />Relevant Project Experience <br />• Relevant projects firm/personnel completed within the last five (5) years <br />15 <br />Schedule <br />• Detailed Schedule based on the Scope of Service <br />15 <br />Fee <br />• Cost of Project <br />20 <br />References <br />• References that are similar in size and project scope to the City. <br />5 <br />• Customer service approach and reputation with municipal agencies <br />TOTAL POSSIBLE SCORE <br />100 <br />The committee may interview the top ranking proposers. The City will recommend award of the <br />agreement to the proposers who will provide the best quality and value to the City. City reserves <br />the right to begin negotiations and enter into an agreement without interview or further <br />discussions. <br />XII. WITHDRAWALS <br />Proposers are responsible for verifying all prices and information before submitting a proposal. <br />Prior to the proposal due date, the Proposer or Proposer's representative may withdraw the <br />proposal by providing written notice of the proposal withdrawal to the City Contact/Project <br />Manager. Verbal or telephonic withdrawals are not permissible. <br />COST OF SERVICE STUDY 11 <br />
