Historical data from the area was used to characterize existing conditions in the vicinity of the Project <br />area. Table 2 shows pollutant levels, State and federal standards, and the number of exceedances <br />recorded in the area from 2019 through 2021. The one -hour State standard for 03 was exceeded twice <br />during this three-year period. The federal standard was exceeded once in that same period. In addition, <br />the daily State standard for PM,owas exceeded twice. The daily federal standard for PM2.5 was exceeded <br />four times.
