Include design, materials, condition, alterations, size, setting, and boundaries) <br />This beige, three-story commercial building has dark brown trim. It is rectangular in plan, wood or steel framed, and rests on a poured <br />concrete foundation. The exterior wall cladding is textured stucco. The composition roof is flat, with a low-pitched parapet visibly clad <br />in red clay Spanish tiles. Broad eaves extend beyond a cantilevered balcony, which is arcaded and has simple metal railing. The <br />fagade is symmetrical and centered on a monumental arched entry projecting above the parapet. The entry extends the full length <br />of the building's minor east -west axis. The symmetrical fagade on the other side of the building is identical; in effect, there are two <br />primary elevations. The balcony's arcade of two dozen bays is repeated and extended to the minor elevations. The office suites are <br />arranged in a grid centered on the elevator shaft. Eleven -foot -tall ceilings define the proportions of their wood surround door openings <br />and glass curtain wall panels. <br />See Continuation Sheet <br />*P3b.
