Relevant Project Experience <br />The City of Huntington Park (City) was awarded a <br />grant from the Community Development Block Grant <br />Program (CDBG) to upgrade and replace various <br />components of the City's infrastructure system. <br />Improvements included pedestrian safety and mobility <br />enhancements, ADA-compliant pedestrian ramp <br />upgrades, striping, and removal and replacement of <br />existing water and sewer service laterals. Cannon <br />provided construction management and inspection <br />services and monitored compliance with Greenbook <br />standards, public contracting code, and procurement <br />requirements. <br />Cannon provided construction management and <br />inspection services for the demolition of an existing <br />pump building with associated pumping equipment <br />and piping; construction of a new pump building with <br />a conference room, office, and restroom; installation <br />of three new pumps and motors including suction <br />header piping, discharge header piping, and other <br />associated piping; electrical upgrades including a <br />MCC, power distribution, and a <br />diesel emergency back-up power system complete <br />with an automatic transfer switch; instrumentation <br />upgrades including a new SCADA panel; landscaping <br />and irrigation improvements; and site improvements. <br />Work also included coordination with the City of <br />Whittier for obtaining the permits and connection of <br />the on -site sewer to the City's sewer system. Cannon <br />provided full-time on -site observation and inspection, <br />daily reports, weekly progress meetings, agency <br />coordination, as well as coordination of RFIs and <br />submittals. Procore was used as the software for <br />organizing the project files and communication. <br />
