TRANSFORM. <br />• Allocate a Staff Therapist (.24 FTE) to provide bilingual, trauma -informed, and culturally <br />competent mental health counseling to victims. <br />• Utilize an MSW Intern (using leveraged funds) to assist with walk-in clients and follow- <br />up advocacy at SAPD, individual counseling and support groups at SAPD and/or a Santa <br />Ana based Family Resource Center. <br />• Provide emergency shelter and/or safety net for victims of domestic violence and their <br />children (with leveraged funds). <br />• Comply with OV W and VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) safety standards to <br />ensure that project staff does not engage in activities that compromise victim safety. <br />As a collaborating, funded agency, the City of Santa Ana will receive compensation from this <br />Grant for fiscal year 2022-23 not to exceed $70,000.00, for fiscal year 2023-24 not to exceed <br />$70,000.00, and for fiscal year 2024-2025 not to exceed $70,000.00, up to $210,000 over the three- <br />year grant period (based on timely billing and spend -down). Funds not expended by the City of <br />Santa Ana will be reallocated to the project based on project needs. The City of Santa Ana <br />commits to the following roles and responsibilities to ensure the success of this project: <br />• Assign one Domestic Violence Corporal or Sergeant to serve on the project oversight <br />team, attend project oversight meetings, attend required OVW training and project <br />orientation, work collaboratively to address obstacles preventing victim access to the <br />criminal justice system, investigate domestic violence cases, supervise the police officers, <br />Memorandum of Understanding <br />Page 7 of 10 <br />info@humanoptions.org 1949.737.5242 1 P.O.
