The <br />ongoing slaughter of civilians by Israel, using American tax dollars, has caused a <br />humanitarian crisis the likes of which will continue to traumatize and impact generations of <br />children in the land. <br />Every day that passes, Israel's indiscriminate bombing kills more Palestinians that have no <br />affiliation with Hamas, and even some of their own Israeli hostages. Santa Ana has a long <br />history with social justice, and should stand on the side of human life, not widespread <br />vengeance. <br />The decision to reject the ceasefire resolution is not just a political matter; it is a moral <br />imperative. <br />Please reconsider your position and agendize to vote in favor of a resolution calling for a <br />permanent ceasefire and an end to the genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian <br />people in Gaza.
