E-comment , Dear City Council, We will not back down in our fight to stop genocide and apartheid. Please take some time to reflect on why it is that people are asking you to not stop the genocide. And furthermore, please reflect on how your implicit or indirect bias has delayed a necessary action which could have minimized civilian death. The community has never been more united and has welcomed new allies from all walks of Santa Ana and the greater OC. When we know that Santa Ana tax payers are directly financing apartheid and genocide of civilians, we cannot and will not allow you to silence us. The horrors that have struck Palestine since October 7th are not something unfamiliar. Israel prior to October 7th had demolished dozens of schools and killed 200-300 civilians including 50 children between 1/1/23-10/6/23. With all due respect, ignoring these facts along with previous genocide in 1948 and 1967 is exactly what allowed for the Holocaust to be successful. Enabling genocide is the most violent thing you can choose to do at a time like this. Furthermore, following in Genocide Joe’s footsteps by casting doubt on the videos of humans being unalived while the world sits and watches, echos the variation of disgust and dehumanization perpetrated by genocidal Israeli Officials. Platforming zionists and sharing insider information is not only inappropriate but unequivocally demonstrates your belief that Santa Ana does in fact support Palestine and halting this resolution would REQUIRE foul play and fraud, as we witnessed transpired.
