NSURANCE ON FILE <br />,NORK MAY PROCEED <br />UNTIL INSURANCE EXPIRES <br />CIVA� <br />CITY CLERK <br />WE DEC 1 3 79Z3 <br />N-2023-195-01 <br />CtAO(36) FILRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH ANDREW LINARES TO <br />PROVIDE LEGISLATIVE SUPPORT SERVICES FOR <br />COUNCIELMEMBER PHIEL BACERRA <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on November 7,2023, <br />by and between Andrew Linares ("Consultant") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"). <br />P.ECITALS <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement No. N-2023-195 ("Agreement") dated July 1, 2023, to <br />provide legislative support services for Councilmember Phil Bacerra. The Agreement term <br />runs until December 31. 2023 and is current and in effect. <br />B. The parties now wish to amend the Agreement to increase the total "not to exceed" amount <br />available under the Agreement and to extend the term of the Agreement. No other changes <br />are contemplated by this First Amendment. <br />The Parties therefore agree: <br />Section 2.a., Compensation, is amended to read as follows: <br />City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as total payment for Consultant's services <br />for City, the amounts listed in sections 2.b. through 21 of this Agreement. The total sum to be <br />expended during the term of this Agreement shall not exceed $50,000.00. <br />2. Section 3, Term, is amended to read as follows: <br />This Agreement shall commence on July 1, 2023 and terminate on April 30, 2024, unless <br />terminated earlier in accordance with Section 15. below. <br />3. Except as modified by this First Amendment, all terms and conditions of the Agreement shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />[signatures onfollowingpage] <br />
