SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH <br />CALIFORNIA BARRICADE RENTALS. INC.. <br />TO PROVIDE TRAFFIC CONTROL EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES <br />THIS SECOND AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on January <br />16, 2024, by and between California Barricade Rentals, Inc., a California corporation dba <br />California Barricade ("Contractor"), and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California <br />("City"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. Following Request for Proposal ("RFP") No. 21-139, the parties entered into Agreement <br />No. A-2022-049 ("Agreement") dated April 5, 2022, to retain a qualified contractor to <br />provide traffic control equipment and services for the City's Parks, Recreation, and <br />Community Services Agency. The Agreement is in full force and effect through March <br />31, 2025. <br />B. On June 6, 2023, the Parties entered into a First Amendment to the Agreement (#A-2023- <br />096) to revise the terms to the compensation language and increase the overall not -to - <br />exceed amount to the Agreement. <br />C. The parties now wish to further amend the Agreement to increase the compensation <br />under the Agreement by $185,000 for additional City events and cover increased costs. <br />The Parties therefore agree: <br />1. Section 2.a., Compensation, is hereby amended to increase the overall compensation to <br />the Agreement in an amount not -to -exceed Four Hundred Thousand Dollars and Zero <br />Cents ($400,000). <br />2. Except as modified by this Second Amendment, all terms and conditions of the <br />Agreement, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect. <br />[signature page follows] <br />City Council 20 — 3 1/16/2024 <br />
