INSURANCE NOT ON FILE <br />WORK MAY NOT PROCEED N-2022-308-01 <br />CITY CLERK <br />DATE: JAN 18 2024 <br />tp. prop�vH)/ - FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH VCA YORBA REGIONAL ANIMAL <br />HOSPITAL TO PROVIDE VETERINARY SERVICES <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on August 14, <br />2023, by and between VCA Animal Hospitals, Inc., A California Corporation, dba VCA Yorba <br />Regional Annual Hospital ("Consultant" or "VCA Yorba"), and the City of Santa Ana, a charter <br />city and municipal corporation organized aad existing under the Constitution and laws of the State <br />of California C'City '). <br />RECITALS <br />A. The patties entered into Agreement NN-2022-308, dated June 1, 2022 ("Agreement"), by which <br />Consultant agreed to provide medical services including emergency medial care to police K.- <br />9s. The terns of the Agreement runs through March 31, 2024, and is still in effect. <br />B. The parties now wish to amend the Agreement to increase the overall compensation for the <br />remainder of the term, adding an additional $24,900.00. <br />- The Parties therefore aaree: <br />1. Section 2.a, Compensation, shall be amended to increase the total compensation by an <br />additional $24,900.00, for a total not to exceed amount of $48,900.00. <br />2.
