Vista Charter Public Schools <br />Sunshine Ordinance Meeting Notes -- March 6, 2023 <br />Q: Where will the outside play area be located? <br />A Where the parking lot directly behind the building is currently located. <br />Q: How big is the play area? <br />A: Unsure. We will check and follow-up. <br />Q: Will the play area affect the flow of traffic? <br />A: No plans to impact the existing traffic flows. The Fairview Avenue curb cut will be used <br />by the new office tenant. <br />Q: Where is the playground located on the master site plan? <br />A: Playground area was pointed out on the map. <br />Q: Why is the zoning being changed? <br />A: To allow an office use that is 100 percent office - the current M-1 zoning does not allow <br />a building that is 100 percent office. Also, we are proposing to amend the operational <br />standards and allow an outdoor play area (currently prohibited). <br />Q: What fencing is proposed? <br />A: Fencing to secure the outdoor play area and outdoor learning area will be installed <br />(fencing identified on the site p(an) <br />Q: Concerns with trucks (up to 50 feet in length) being able to turn west to Fairview Street <br />with the change in circulation <br />A: Will look at ways to accommodate truck traffic <br />City Council 26 — 250 1/16/2024 <br />
