INSURANCE NOT REQUIRED FIRST AMENDMENT TO EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT A-2024-009 <br />WORK MAY PROCEEWMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA <br />CITY CLERK ANA AND SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: JAN 2 4 2024 (24 CFR Parts 91 and 576) <br />p CDA Chi n t <br />(s.a`"ely THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT MEMORANDUM <br />OF UNDERSTANDING is entered into this 16 day of January, 2024, by and between the City of Santa <br />Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("CITY"), and SANTA ANA <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT ("SUBRECIPIENT"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. On July 1, 2023, the City entered into an Emergency Solutions Grant Memorandum of <br />Understanding with the Santa Ana Police Department, A-2023-083-04, to provide Emergency <br />Funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to be <br />used in the operation of emergency solutions programs to assist individuals and families that <br />are homeless or at risk of homelessness in obtaining appropriate supportive services in the <br />City of Santa Ana ("said Agreement"). <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties desire to amend to <br />increase funds by $32,394.61 to the Subrecipient, which need to be spent by June 30, 2024. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terms and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows: <br />Section III, shall be amended to increase funding to Subrecipient by $32,394.61. The new <br />total sum shall be increased from a sum not to exceed $50,000 to an amount not to exceed <br />$82,394.61 in grant funding. <br />2. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain <br />unchanged and in full force and effect. <br />[signatures on following page] <br />
