We will never stop. We will never be
silent. You cannot dehumanize and terrorize people and
except compliance. By taking our right to protest, you will
be oppressing us and therefore inciting resistance because
when there is injustice, resistance is justified. Think again.
Examine the motives behind this inequitable idea that runs
against our constitutional rights!
Rebecca
Kovacs -Stein
Buena Park
California
CA
90620
Cynthia
Mendoza
Anaheim
California
CA
92804
Justine
Flores
Costa Mesa
California
CA
92626 This is not a crime. If it's inconvenient for specific politicians to be
protested by their constituents and neighboring
communities then perhaps they should listen to the people
they claim to represent. People aren't protesting because
it's fun, it's because it's essential to do everything in our
power during a serious humanitarian crisis. Genocides are
not supposed to be political. Ethnic cleansing is not
political. Don't participate in what is nearing towards
fascistic practices and protect the rights of the people
living in your area.
Angie-Karine
Munoz
Anaheim
California
CA
92806 It is imperative that the City of Santa Ana does not restrict
the right of constituents to protest in residential areas,
especially when the protests that have triggered this
ordinance to be created, have been peaceful and
intentional. It is a constitutional right to protest and petition
our government, and constituents should be able to use
whatever avenues legally available to them to have their
voices heard. Polling shows that a majority of voters are in
a favor of a ceasefire in Gaza, and the City of Santa Ana
recently passed a ceasefire resolution. It's time that Lou
Correa listens to his constituents and stop turning a blind
eye. Should this ordinance pass, it will only allow Rep.
Correa to continue to insulate himself from the desires of
his constituents all while turning his back on the suffering
of Palestinians.
Ammar
A....
Anaheim
California
CA
92807
Cecilia
Avila
Garden Grove
California
CA
92840
Laura
Younes
Redondo Beach
California
CA
90278 We have the rights to hold our leaders accountable with
protest.
