Use caBonn when n:pei inn :nm�c4gun enu s or finks. <br />Santa Ana City Council, <br />I urge you to vote NO on Agenda 424. <br />This is a clear political ploy to benefit one or two elected officials, who skirt engaging with their constituents <br />and abpid responsibilies of answering to the public. <br />Councilmember Hernandez out it best: <br />Quote <br />Hernandez said the proposed ordinance is politically motivated and that elected officials like Amezcua are using <br />public resources for their own benefit. <br />"There was a private political fundraiser for her reelection, where she utilized public resources to stifle <br />community members and to kick them out of her political fundraiser. She used police officers," he said. <br />"My concern is that there are public resources that are being used to shield elected officials from their <br />constituents," <br />Unquote. <br />I don't wish to see this ordnance passed, as it sets a bad precedent for neighboring Costa Mesa and my Irvine <br />and for the Orange County region, sending a message that our First Amendment rights must be curtailed for the <br />benefit of inconveniencing elected officials elected to serve the constituency. <br />I leave you with this, what would Martin Luther King Jr say to this Ordnance? <br />Luis <br />
