Clean California Bus Stop Improvement Plan <br />April 16, 2024 <br />Page 2 <br />4 <br />1 <br />7 <br />2 <br />The City received a Notice to Proceed on January 8, 2024 in the amount of $398,000 <br />from CCLGP (Exhibit 2). A resolution authorizing the Executive Director of the Public <br />Works Agency (Exhibit 3) to enter into a Restricted Grant Agreement (RGA) with <br />Caltrans was approved on December 19, 2023 (Exhibit 4). The Clean California Local <br />Grant Program (CCLGP) can be applied to projects that beautify and clean local streets <br />and roads, tribal lands, parks, pathways, transit centers, and other public spaces. These <br />funds were granted and can be applied towards our Bus Stop Improvement Project due <br />to the project providing new and improved benches, trashcans, and sidewalk at bus <br />stops within the scope. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. The project will assess the <br />environmental impact for compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Approval of the appropriation adjustment will recognize the receipt of $398,000 via the <br />Select Street Construction, State Grant-Direct revenue account (No. 05917002-52025) <br />and appropriate to the Select Street Construction, Improvements Other than Buildings, <br />expenditure account (No. 05917660-66220). <br />The following table summarizes the funds budgeted and available in FY 2023-24 for <br />expenditure to deliver this project.
