PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY. <br />DISCLOSURE/CAP ON LOSSES - TERRORISM RISK INSURANCE ACT <br />THISENDORSEMENTISATTACHEDTOANDMADEPARTOFYOURPOLICYINRESPONSETOTHE <br />DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS OF THE TERRORISM RISK INSURANCE ACT. <br />POLICY NUMBER:76 SBU AY9R14 <br />SCHEDULE <br />Terrorism Premium: <br />$11 <br />A.Disclosure Of Premium <br />InaccordancewiththefederalTerrorismRiskInsuranceAct,asamended(TRIA),wearerequiredtoprovideyouwith <br />anoticedisclosingtheportionofyourpremium,ifany,attributabletocoveragefor"certifiedactsofterrorism"under <br />TRIA.TheportionofyourpremiumattributabletoterrorismcoverageisshownintheaboveScheduleofthis <br />endorsement. <br />B.The following definition is added with respect to the provisions of this endorsement: <br />1.A"certifiedactofterrorism"meansanactthatiscertifiedbytheSecretaryoftheTreasury,inaccordancewiththe <br />provisionsofTRIA,tobeanactofterrorismunderTRIA.ThecriteriacontainedinTRIAfora"certifiedactof <br />terrorism" include the following: <br />a.Theactresultsininsuredlossesinexcessof$5millionintheaggregate,attributabletoalltypesofinsurance <br />subject to TRIA; and <br />b.TheactresultsindamagewithintheUnitedStates,oroutsidetheUnitedStatesinthecaseofcertainair <br />carriers or vessels or the premises of an United States mission; and <br />c.Theactisaviolentactoranactthatisdangeroustohumanlife,propertyorinfrastructureandiscommitted <br />byanindividualorindividualsaspartofanefforttocoercethecivilianpopulationoftheUnitedStatesorto <br />influence the policy or affect the conduct of the United States Government by coercion. <br />C.Disclosure Of Federal Share Of Terrorism Losses <br />TheUnitedStatesDepartmentoftheTreasurywillreimburseinsurersfor80%ofinsuredlossesattributableto <br />"certified acts of terrorism" under TRIA that exceeds the applicable insurer deductible. <br />However,ifaggregateindustryinsuredlossesattributableto"certifiedactsofterrorism"underTRIA),exceed$100 <br />billioninacalendaryear,theTreasuryshallnotmakeanypaymentforanyportionoftheamountofsuchlossesthat <br />exceeds$100billion.TheUnitedStatesgovernmenthasnotchargedanypremiumfortheirparticipationincovering <br />terrorism losses. <br />D.Cap On Insurer Liability for Terrorism Losses <br />Ifaggregateindustryinsuredlossesattributableto"certifiedactsofterrorism"underTRIAexceed$100billionina <br />calendaryearandwehavemet,orwillmeet,ourinsurerdeductibleunderTRIA,weshallnotbeliableforthepayment <br />ofanyportionoftheamountofsuchlossesthatexceed$100billion.Insuchcase,yourcoverageforterrorismlosses <br />maybereducedonapro-ratabasisinaccordancewithproceduresestablishedbytheTreasury,basedonits <br />Form SC 70 00 12 20Page1 of2 <br />Process Date:06/02/2024© 2020, The HartfordPolicy Expiration Date:07/12/2025 <br />(May include copyrighted material of Insurance Services Office, Inc., with its permission) <br /> <br />
