Coordinate a Car-Free Day on a regular basis each month. Provide information <br />and incentives for drivers to leave the car behind for a day. Continue to maintain the BicycleLA.org website <br />to provide bicyclists with current information about safety, future improvements, events, <br />network maps, route information and suggestions, maintenance and other relevant <br />information. <br />DOT 4.14, 1.6 Communication <br />C.7 Multi-Modal Access Campaign. Develop a Multi-Modal Access Campaign, in collaboration <br />with Metro, SCAG and other transportation providers, to highlight the availability (all day, <br />every day) of multiple transportation options (transit, vanpool, car share, bikeshare, bicycling, <br />walking, etc.) across the region. <br />Metro, SCAG, DOT, BBB, Culver City Bus, <br />Metrolink, Foothill Transit, Orange Transit, <br />Gardena Transit <br />3.5, 4.11 Communication <br />C.8 Neighborhood Network and Business District Maps. Promote awareness of the various networks, streetscape, and green or <br />“great street” improvements through the installation of posters and/or banners. Provide timely information on current roadway work, including <br />scheduled maintenance, work in progress and completed projects.
