Santa Ana: Traffic Signal and Streetlight Maintenance (RFP NO.: 24-046) Y U ' ' - " <br />TRAFFIC <br />Understanding of Need <br />It is our understanding that the City of Santa Ana is seeking a <br />qualified firm to provide Traffic Signal and Streetlight Maintenance <br />and Repair Services. The selected service company will be <br />responsible for providing a continuing, comprehensive, routine, and <br />extraordinary maintenance program for the City's equipment. The <br />City's expectation is that the maintenance program will reduce the <br />incidence of malfunctions, reduce complaints, promote safety, and <br />proactively extend the longevity of the equipment, thus reducing the <br />overall operating cost for the traffic signal/streetlight system. <br />Our goal is always to exceed our customer's expectations. We have <br />a broad range of experienced personnel including NEC and IMSA <br />Level III Traffic Signal Maintenance personnel. The technicians <br />assigned to this contract have over 62 years of combined <br />experience managing and maintaining traffic signal, streetlight, fiber <br />networks, and central systems. <br />Our in-house traffic signal laboratories (located in Riverside) provide a full range of technical <br />services including complete controller/cabinet testing, repair, and conflict monitor <br />testing/certification. Services for this contract include the provision of appropriately trained <br />personnel and equipment necessary to perform maintenance activities as outlined in your RFP. <br />We understand that the general Scope of Work to be done consists of routine preventative <br />maintenance and repair to your traffic signals and streetlights as well as general and emergency <br />repairs of the same. These services will provide your city with safe and efficient operations. <br />Yunex Traffic will have available and readily accessible, qualified personnel, tools, equipment, <br />facilities, and material required to perform all work necessary for the maintenance of the City's <br />traffic signal and streetlight systems, as outlined in the Scope of Work and in compliance with <br />current City and State standards. <br />Our Approach / Response Times <br />To be able to respond immediately to emergency calls, Yunex Traffic's field technicians are <br />authorized to take their work vehicles home daily. All work vehicles are stocked with proper field <br />equipment so he/she may sufficiently address most problems they encounter while responding. <br />Emergency response call outs and unscheduled repairs are initiated by calling our toll -free <br />emergency phone number, 1-800-229-6090. A live dispatcher will be available 24 hours a day, <br />7 days per week, 365 days per year. Our dispatcher will create a work order in our visual <br />planning board and once the work order is released, it will immediately transfer to our <br />technician's queue on their mobile device. As part of our quality control practice, our dispatcher <br />will follow up with a phone call to our technician to confirm that he/she is in receipt of the call <br />out/work order. For emergency calls, the technician will arrive at the site within thirty (30) <br />minutes to assess and correct the reported problem.
