ORDINANCE NO. N~-520 DECLARING THE AITNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "EDINGER AND RAITT S.E. ANNEX" WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha declared its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory by Resolution No. 61-102 adopted April 17, 1961, which said Resolution was regu- larly published as required by law and gave due notice of a public hearing to be held June 5, 1961, which said hearing was regularly held on said notice and on mailed notices as required by law. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI~l'Y OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That after due hearing, the City Council finds that no protest was made against the annexation of the territory herein described; that due notice of time and place of hearing was given; that said territory was uninhabited at the time said Resolution No. 61-102 was adopted initiating this proceeding; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha; and that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation. SECTION 2: That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 23, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, as shown on a map of Record of Survey recorded in Book 3, Page 29, Record of Surveys in the office of the Co%%nty Recorder of Orange County, california, said corner also being an angle point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Aha; thence North 89° 29' East along the center line of Edinger Street, and along the existing city boundary of said city a distance of 660 feet to the intersection of said center line of Edinger Street with the North prolongation of the East line of Lot 11, thence departing from city boundary South 00~ 11' West along said North prolongation of said Lot 11, and along said East line of Lot 11, a distance of 658.86 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 11; thence South 89° 35' West along the South lines of Lots 11, 12, 13, and along the West prolonga- tion of the South line of Lot 13, a distance of 660 feet, more or less to a point on said city boundary, and to a point on the West line of the Southwest quarter of the North- east quarter of said Section 23; thence North along said city boundary and along said West line a distance of 657 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, -1-
