State <br /> <br />Fruit Growers Cony. <br /> <br /> On motion duly seconded and carried, the City Marshal is <br /> instructed to inform the different railroad companies against <br /> allowing cars to stand on the public streets of the City of <br /> Santa Ana, particular attention being directed to Second St. <br /> <br /> On motion of McPhee, seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the <br /> City 01erk is directed to direct a telegram to Roy K.Bishop, <br /> at San Jose,Calif., inviting the 0alifornia State Fruit Growers' <br /> Association to hold their 1914 Convention in the 0ity of Santa <br /> Aha. <br /> <br />In Re 0ity Demands On motion of Alderman, duly seconded and camried, the 0ity <br /> Clerk is directed to draw warrants o='th~-'§ity Treasurer covering <br /> Demands Nos. 6~5 to 790 inclusive, and as the same ars recorded <br /> in De,and and Warrant Book No.1, pages §9,80, 81 and 62. <br /> # <br /> <br />In Re Transfer of Funds On motion of Alderman, duly seconded and carried, the City <br />General to Fire Fund 01erk is directed to transfer $3000.00 from the General Fund to <br /> the Fire Fund. <br /> <br />In Re Warrant Fire Dept. A communication signed by ~eo.g. Peters directed to the Board <br /> and calling their attention to Section 8~ of Ordinance No.§OS <br /> and stating that the City of Santa Aha was indebted to the Santa <br /> Aha Fire Dept. in accordance with the provisions of said Section <br /> and Ordinance to the amount of $459.00, was on motion referred <br /> to a comittee consisting of Trustees Alderman, Greenleaf and <br /> McPhee. <br /> <br />In Re Road Grader The President of the Board having announced this the time to <br /> open bids for a road grader for the Street Department of the <br /> City of Santa Aha, the 0ity 01erk was on motion of Alderman,duly <br /> seconded and carried, directed to proceed to open bids. Bids <br /> were received from: <br /> <br /> The Austin Western Oompany, Parrott & 0ompany, <br /> George F. Spangler, Newel-Mathews 0ompany, Geo. A. Rogers 0ompany, <br /> gdwin R. Bacon & Company, and W.g. Baxter. <br /> <br /> The bids were on motion ordered referred to a comittee <br /> consisting of Trustees Grubb and Greenleaf to report at next meetin~ <br /> <br />In Re Ordinance No.563 Ordinance ~o.56~, an Ordinance adding a new section to Ordinance <br />Curb Lins,Gentral Ave.etc. No.42~ of the 0ity of Santa Ana, in relation to the width of <br /> <br /> roadways and sidewalks to hbe known as Section 11½, was on <br /> <br /> motion of Alderman, duly seconded and carried, passed and adopted <br /> <br /> <br />
