<br />Resolution No.~§S. A resolution of the City of Santa A~,
<br />deternining and declaring that the public interest and
<br />public necessity of the City of ~anta Ana,Oalifoz'niasde-
<br />mands the oonstruction, improvement and extension of the
<br />Water Works of said City,including the purchase of a
<br />
<br />boiler and pump, mains and pipes, and the cost of laying
<br />the same, together with the necessary machinery ~d appara-
<br />tus for improving the water system of said City,a~zo,
<br />apparatus for the improvement of the Fire D~rtment of
<br />said City, including the purchase of an auto truck, and
<br />Fire Hose, for said Fi~e ~e~ar~ent,the cost of which
<br />municipal improvements will be too ~eat to be paid out
<br />of the ordinary annual income and revenue of the City of
<br />Santa Ana, was on motion of Grubb, seconded by Alderman,
<br />passed and adopted by the following vote to-wit:

<br />standing of vehicles at the Junction of ~orth Main Street,
<br />East Fourth Street and West Fourth Street, in the City o
<br />Santa Aha,proviso; and fixing a penalty for the ~iolat-
<br />ion thereof, was on motion of Alderman, seconded by McPhee,
<br />passed and adopted by the following vote to-wit·
