S8, 1915 and one Oct.$Oth,191~, whereby <br />the Santa Aha High School District conveys to the City of Santa <br />Aha certain real property to be used for street purposes, one <br />being the extension of Oamil~e Street and the other being a new <br />street; both streets are in the neighborhood and adjacent to the <br />Santa Aha Polytechnic High School. <br /> <br /> ~ustee MoPhee a member of the Oo~mittee appointed to investi- <br /> gate and report locations for new street lights made his report <br /> and the City Clerk was on motion directed to notify the 8outhern <br /> California gdison Company to install street lights at the follow- <br /> ing locations: <br /> <br /> One at the intersection of Vaness and Washington; one at Van Ness <br /> and Fourth; one on Ha6nah Street North of the bridge; the light <br /> now located on West Second Street near Shelton Street to be moved <br /> ~ast ; one light to be installed on North "O" Street near <br /> at Santiago O~eek. <br /> <br />· communication from Mr. H.H.'Balltrd,Asst. General Manager of <br />the Edison Company, addressed to Trustee McPhee, stating that the <br />Secretary of the Joint Pole Committee had gone to SantaAna to <br />make the necessax~y arrangements for the proper sukstitution of <br />pole at the intersection of 4th and Birch Streets,was on motion <br />ordered filed. <br /> <br />· request from M~s.C.O. Wilson i~r the removal of three umbrella <br />trees from in'front of her property on West Fifth Street was on <br />motion referred to the Street Committee with power to act. <br /> <br />The 0ity gngineer having reported that a ~Jo$~ty of the front- <br />age on South Broadway as having signed the petition of Geo..W. <br />Minter, et al, f~r the paving of said street, it was on motion of <br />Alderman, duly seconded and carried, ordered that the City 2ns~neer <br />prepare plans and specifications and that the City ·ttorney prepare <br />a Resolution of Intention incorporating in said Resolution the <br />provisions of the Vroo~an Act, and the prayer of the petition was <br />ordered granted. <br /> <br />· petition signed by John McFadden, et al,asking that sewer be laid <br />on West Sixth Street and Nokomis with the provision that PrOl~e~ty <br />owners a~ree to pay for the pipe and the Sewer Department of said <br /> <br /> <br />
