The President of the Board being absent, Trustee Alderman was on motion, named to act aa President px~ tom. Board called to order by President ~ro tom. Aldermam. In Re I~vitation Anaheim Pioneer Week. In Rs Ordinance No. ~ Protecting Con~rete Pavement In Re Pacific Electric Raj lway Fr~nchi se. In Rs Removal of Palm Trees, South P~istol Street. A commA~ication received from J.W.Duckworth, 0hairman of the Pioneer Week Celebration in Anaheim, asking the Board to ~articipate in the celebration on October loth, was accepted and the Board directed the Clerk to notify the Committee of the acceptamce. Ordinance ~c~An ordinance to protect asphalt concrete pavement, in the Oity of Ama, prohibiting traction engines, was read, and on motion referred to the ~ity Attorney. The bond submitted by the Pacific glectric Railway, for the completion of the line ca ~ast Fourth Street, was held to be irregular, c~erk w~s directed to~ake co the proposition of crossing the A.T. & S.F. Railway 0o's tracks, and the S.P.track, by permission of the Railroad Commission. # The request for the removal of l~al~ trees en South Bristol Street, was on motion, denied.
