BOard called to order by President Prank Fy. The City Clerk beinS absent Trustee McPhee, was on motion a£pointed to act as City Clerk Irc tern. An Re Fire AD.aratus. On motion of Orubb, duly seconded and carried, it is ordered that all neEotiatious with the ~ott Fire ~nsine Co., be declared off for the reason that the Nott ~ire ~ngine Co., having failed to answer in reference to proposed contract. A re~ort was then called, from the Oommittee appointed by the Board to investigate on Fire A~aratus. Oomn~ittee~n Toung and ~angler, rel-.orted in favor'~f the ~ea~rave ~ire A~aratus, T~ustees Reid, Alderman and Greenleaf reported in favor of the White. Upon motion a vote was taken by the Board of Trustees as to their choice of apparatus. Trustees Alderman,McPhee,Greenleaf and Grubb voted in favor o~ the White. Trustee ~y $,e~lines to vote. On motion',of Alderman, duly seconded and carried, Water Supt. ~eid and Fire ~hief Young, Geo. ~pan~ler, Trutsteee Alderm. an and G~eenleaf are named a committee to pre,are s~ecifications for outfitting White Fire Apparatus. On motion duly seconded and Oarried, the Oity Attorney is directed to prepare a contra~ to be signed by the Oity of 9anta Aha and the White Conhany with reference to fire a~.paratus. on motion of Alderman, duly seconded and carries it is ordered that all bids submitted for fire a~4aratus excepting that of the White 0o., be rejected aaddthe City Clerk is directed to return certified checks.
