In Re in passin7 schools The motion cf Trustee Tubbs that a committee be appointed ~n reference to conditions for sidewalk and curb on Orange Ave., South of Bishop St., was duly seconded and carried, Trustees Oreenleaf and ~aryatt and City Engineer Bonebrake being appointed ms such committee. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, that a committee be appointed to interview Supervisor Struck reference to repairing Santa Clara Ave. from Grand Ave. City Limits, President Vlsel appointing Trustees MoPhee Tubbs, and Street Supt. Obrien, as such committee. . On motion of Trustee NcPhee, duly seconded by Tubbe carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw a warrant in favor of the S.A.V.I. Co., same being the City's of the expense in piping the irriEation ditch underground on West !Tth along the Rose property. On motion of Trustee Naryatt, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the Clerk was instructed to purchase 26 signs from the American Enameling & Stamping Works, for posting the speed allowed in passing schools under Ordinance No.622. On motion of Trustee Maryatt. duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the Orange County, Engineering and Construction Co. were gTanted permission to close Haleaworth St. from Broadway to Ross in order pave said portion of street under Specifica- tions 82. The motion of Trustee NoPhee that a committee be appointed in reference to condition for private driveways on Birch St. betw- een 6th and lOth, was duly seconded and carried, President Visel appointing Trustees NcPhee and Tubbs and Street Supt. OBrien as such committee. A Resolution amending ~nd adopting amendments to Specificstions Nc.g2 were read, and the motion of Trustee Tubbs that the same be adopted, was duly seconded by Maryatt and passed by the followinE vote to-wit:- Ayes, Trustees Tubbs,~cPhee,Greenleaf ~_ryatt and Visel. Noes, Trustees None. An Ordinance regulating the vehicle traffic adjacent to school buildings in the City was given final reading and on motion cf Trustee Tubbs that came be adopted was duly seconded by ~ary~tt and passed by the following vote to-~it:- Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee,Greenle~J, Naryatt and Visel, ~oes, None. 1 ;1 in to the for $105.- portion
