Salt· All·, Sept. Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by the Clerk. Present, Trustees Tubbs,MoPhee,Oreenleaf,Maryatt and the Clerk. Absent, President Visel. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, President pro rem. City Hall, 4th, l~lT, ?;30 p.m. duly seconded by MoPhee, Trustee Maryatt was appointed In Re Minutes In Re Suggestion for auto parking In Re Communication, Salt Lake Ry. In Re State Board of Health Confer- ence In Re Petition for Street 3rd & Santa Fe Ste. light In Re Monthly Reports In Re Recorder's report In Re P.E.Applioation for f~anchise Minutes of Aug. ZOth and 2?th read, and Minutes of Aug. 2?th amended in reference to the contract Of Edward T.Flaherty to read in case Bridge Bonds do not carry the 3~% of the contract price, or in case of supervision of 5% for oommissio: shall be null and void. A communication from Frank Ey in reference to suggestions for · utc parking was read and on motion of Trustee MoPhee duly seconded by Tubbs received and placed on file. A communication from the General Right of Way and Tax Agt. for the Salt Lake Ry. in reference to the paving of Poinsettll St. asking that the improvement of said Street be deferred temporarily until terminal plans for said railroad had been completed, was read and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenle·f and placed on file. A communication from the Secretary of the State Board of Healt: urging that this City's Health Officer be present ·t the 9th Annual Conference of State, County and Municipal Health Offioi als to be held ·t Santa Rosa during the week of Sept. 2~th, 1917, was read, and on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by MoPhee ordered filed for future reference. A petition signed by · number of property owners asking that a street light be installed mt the corner of ~rd and Santa Fe St~. mas on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, referred to the Li~ ~mittee, The monthly reports of the Marshal, Fire Chief,Bldg. Inspeotor and Recorder, were on motion cf Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded By McPhee referred to the Auditing Committee. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf, the City Attorney was instructed to interview the Recorder in reference to · 'No Fu~d Check' received by him, and his month- ly report referred back for corrections.
