Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by President Vleel. Present,Trustees McPhee, Greenleaf, Maryatt, Visel Absent, Trustee Tubbs. Minutes of Oct, let and gth read and approved. Convention In Re Faded flags In Re to close offices In Re Instructions to grade Custer St, In Re Trees on Main St. First and 2nd, between A communication from the Public Improvement Committee of the Chamber of Commerce asking the Board to declare the week beginning Nov. let to 8th "Clean-up Week, On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly eeconded by Maryatt the request was granted and the Street Dept. to co-operate in hauling away the accummulatione of the c~aan-up w~. A communication from N.H.Matthewe calling the Board's attention to the fact that the sidewalk ordered in on South side of Lime Street from Patton to Ross some time · go hsd not been complied with up to the present date. On motion of Trustee MoPhee duly eeconded by Maryatt same was referred to the Street Supt. for investigation and report at next meeting. The report of Jas. OBrien, Street Supt. one of the delegate, to the State Convention of the League of Cal. Municipalities, held at Santa Rosa Sept. 2~th to 29th, was read, and on motion Trustee McPhee,duly seconded by Greenleaf, the report was accepted with thanks and ordered placed on file. On motion of Trustee MoPhee that the attention be called to business houses and other places displaying flag~ of the condition of the torn and faded flag~, asking that same be replaced with new ones, Maryatt and carried. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, was duly seconded by duly seconded by Maryatt all office, in the City Hall are to close between 3 and 4 p.m. Oct. 16th,191?, in order to hear U.S.Treaeurer McAdoo give a talk on the "Liberty Loan Bonds". On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf the Street Supt. was instructed to grade 0ueter St. North of Washington Ave. before any other new work is undertaken, The motion of Trustee Maryatt that a committee be appoint; ed in reference to ordering trees removed on the East side of Main between First and 2nd Ste. was duly seconded and carried, Trustees McPhee and Greenleaf being appointed as such committee.
