Flower St. Bridge, Hattie B~uer In Re Appointment fire truck driver In Re Demand,Wells & Breesler, Flower St. bridge In Re Demands handle the garbage and rubbish for the City for one year at $300 per month, was accepted, and City Attorney Bcott instructed to draw up the proper contract and Company to be notified to he present at the next meeting of the Bos~rd tc sign the necessary contract and deposit a $700 cash bond as agreed by them. # On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and passed by the following vote, Ayes,Trustees Tubbs,McPhee, Greenleaf$ Maryatt, a~d Vlsel, Noes, Trustees None, the following Resolution was adopted, "Whereas, the Pacific Electric Ry. Co. agrees to pay to the City of Santa Aha the sum of $?000.00 toward defray- ing the cost of construction of a bridge anross the Santiago Creek on North Main Bt. Santa Aha, which struct- ure is now nearly completed, Resolved- that the City of Santa Aha hereby agrees to allow the aforesaid Pacific Electric Ry.~o. the right to use sufficient space to operate itc passenger and express oars over a single track across said bridge, the right of way Io granted to be kept and maintained at all times in proper order by and at the expense of the aforesaid P.E. Ry.Co." On motion of Trustee Tubbe,duly seconded by McPhee and carried, the following report a~ submitted by the committee appointed in reference to the protest of Hattie Bauer against accepted and ordered " Santa Aha, Cai.Nov. the North Flower St. bridge was spread on the minutes: 1,191~. # On motion of Trustee Tubbe, Hon. Boa~d of Trustees, City of Santa Aha, Gentlemen:- We, the undersigned members of the committee instructed by you to view and report on the cor~truot- ion of abuttments and retaining walls of North Flower St. bridge, beg leave to report as follows: That the City of Bents Aha would not be Justified in constructing any additional retaining wall on the North bank at the North end cf the bridge in question, and that the piers as at the present time constructed are at the proper angle in that by the straightening of the Creek at that point at some future time would be lnadvleable to have them constructed in any other manner. Bonebrake, City Engineer, duly seconded by Greenleaf, the Board ratifies the appointment of Ike Fields ae & driver in the Fire Dept. to succeed J.T.Lacy, called to the service. The demand of wells & Bressler for $916.50, being estimate $5 on North Flower St. bridge, wan on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs, referred to a committee for investigation. Trustees Tubbs,Greenleaf and Engineers Finley, Bonebrake and Flaherty were appoint- ed as such committee to report at next meeting. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants on the Treasurer to cover the demands as audited at the Finance meeting.
