Flower <br /> <br />St. Bridge, Hattie B~uer <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Appointment fire truck driver <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Demand,Wells & Breesler, <br /> <br />Flower St. bridge <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Demands <br /> <br />handle the garbage and rubbish for the City for one year <br />at $300 per month, was accepted, and City Attorney Bcott <br />instructed to draw up the proper contract and Company to <br />be notified to he present at the next meeting of the <br />Bos~rd tc sign the necessary contract and deposit a $700 <br />cash bond as agreed by them. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and <br />passed by the following vote, Ayes,Trustees Tubbs,McPhee, <br />Greenleaf$ Maryatt, a~d Vlsel, Noes, Trustees None, <br />the following Resolution was adopted, <br /> <br /> "Whereas, the Pacific Electric Ry. Co. agrees to pay to <br /> the City of Santa Aha the sum of $?000.00 toward defray- <br /> ing the cost of construction of a bridge anross the <br /> Santiago Creek on North Main Bt. Santa Aha, which struct- <br /> ure is now nearly completed, <br /> Resolved- that the City of Santa Aha hereby agrees to <br /> allow the aforesaid Pacific Electric Ry.~o. the right <br /> to use sufficient space to operate itc passenger and <br /> express oars over a single track across said bridge, <br /> the right of way Io granted to be kept and maintained at <br /> all times in proper order by and at the expense of the <br /> aforesaid P.E. Ry.Co." <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbe,duly seconded by McPhee and <br /> carried, the following report a~ submitted by the <br /> committee appointed in reference to the protest of <br /> <br />Hattie Bauer against <br />accepted and ordered <br />" Santa Aha, Cai.Nov. <br /> <br />the North Flower St. bridge was <br />spread on the minutes: <br /> <br />1,191~. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbe, <br /> <br /> Hon. Boa~d of Trustees, City of Santa Aha, <br /> Gentlemen:- <br /> We, the undersigned members of the committee <br />instructed by you to view and report on the cor~truot- <br />ion of abuttments and retaining walls of North Flower <br />St. bridge, beg leave to report as follows: <br /> That the City of Bents Aha would not be <br />Justified in constructing any additional retaining wall <br />on the North bank at the North end cf the bridge in <br />question, and that the piers as at the present time <br />constructed are at the proper angle in that by the <br />straightening of the Creek at that point at some future <br />time would be lnadvleable to have them constructed in <br />any other manner. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Geo.H.~cctt, City Attorney <br /> Edward T.Flaherty,Coneulting Englne~ <br /> C.C. Trustees Tubbs,Greenleaf <br /> <br />and Engineers Finley, Bonebrake and Flaherty were appoint- <br />ed as such committee to report at next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf <br /> <br />and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants <br />on the Treasurer to cover the demands as audited at <br /> <br />the Finance meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
