Olty Hall,Sa~lta Aha, June 24,1918, 7;~O p.m. Board met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by the Clerk. Present,Trustees Tubbe,MoPhee,Greenleaf,and Maryatt. Felts Ayes, Noes, # On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, Trustee MoPhee was appointed President pro tom. President pro tom MoPhee announced that this was the date set for opening bids received for paving Bristol St. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, the Clerk was instructed to proceed to open bid8 received. The following bids were opened: Orange Co.Engineering & Const. Co. 1~ cts. per sq. ft. which was accompanied by a certified check of $1550. Wells & Breesler,14.~9 cents per sq. ft., w~*oh was accompanied by U.S.Fldelity & Guranty Co.'e bond for $1650. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the contract for paving Bristol St.,from 5th St. on the North to the City Limits on the South,was awarded to Wells & Breeeler, as per bid submitted by them. Resolution No.60~, a Resolution of Award of contract for the paving of Bristol St. was read, and on motion of Trustee Green- leaf that same be adopted, was duly seconded by Tubbe and pasee¢ by the following vote to-wit:- Trustees Tubbs,MoPhee,Greenleaf, and Maryatt. Trustees None, Absent, President Vlsel. A communication from the P.E.Ry.Co. in reference to securing a certificate from Ohrie MoNelll, successful bidder for bulldin N.Maln St. bridge, onthe contract for furnishing cement, on motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Greenleaf and oarri the matter was referred to the City Attorney to secure the necessary document from Mr.MoNeill. # On motion of Trustee Maryatt,Auly seconded by Tubbe, Mrs. Sohute will succeed Mrs. Carrol aa Police woman at a salary of per month, and the Clerk was so instructed to make the neoessar~ ~hangs. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried Trustee MoPhee was appointed with power to ~ot as a o~-mtttee o~ one with Chris MoNelll in ordering necessary material for build. lng North Main St. b~idge.
