Robertson to erect an electric <br />sign at 111~ East 4th St. for the Auto Club of Orange Co. <br />the request was granted on motion of Trustee Greenleaf <br />duely seconded by Maryatt and carried, under the eupervis. <br />ion of the City Electrician according to out submitted and <br />city ordnance. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McPhee duely seconded by Greenleaf <br /> that a committee he appointed to investigate and take up <br /> the matter with a committee from the Chamber of Commerce <br /> in reference to different dip street crossings within the <br /> city. President Visel app&inted Trustees Tubbs and MoPhee <br /> and City Engineer Bonebrake as such committee. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs duely seconded by Greenleaf <br /> City Attorney Scott was instructed to be in attendance <br /> at the State R. R. Commission hearing set for Aug. 19th, <br /> 1918, 10 A.M., Room 205, Union League Bldg., LOS Angeles, <br /> in the matter of the application of Southern California <br /> Edison Company for authority to increase it's electric <br /> rates. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs duely seconded by McPhee the <br />Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids on fuel oil, <br />specifications for same to be furnished by Water 81~pt. Rel( <br /> <br /> The motion of Trustee MoPhee that it is the sense of the <br /> BOard that in the future the Street Department neither <br /> borrow nor lend any street equipment. This motion was <br /> duely seconded by Trustee Tubbs and carried. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Maryatt duely seconded by Tubbs and <br /> carried that the sidewalk and curb be ordered ih on bot~ <br /> 2nd & Hathaway streets, property in charge of H.
