On motion of Trustee McPhee duely seconded by Greenleaf that a committee he appointed to investigate and take up the matter with a committee from the Chamber of Commerce in reference to different dip street crossings within the city. President Visel app&inted Trustees Tubbs and MoPhee and City Engineer Bonebrake as such committee. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs duely seconded by Greenleaf City Attorney Scott was instructed to be in attendance at the State R. R. Commission hearing set for Aug. 19th, 1918, 10 A.M., Room 205, Union League Bldg., LOS Angeles, in the matter of the application of Southern California Edison Company for authority to increase it's electric rates. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs duely seconded by McPhee the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids on fuel oil, specifications for same to be furnished by Water 81~pt.
