Hose For Street Department. On motion of Trustee MoPhee dul7 seconded by ?ubbs and carried the Street Department was authorized to pu~oha4e the nesoeseary amount of hose to fit out its sprinkling wagons. On motion of Trustee Maryatt duly seconded by MoPhe, and carried, the invitation was accepted, and on motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Maryatt, the decorating of the automobile was left in the hands of Trustee MoPhee. On motion of Trustee Maryatt duly seconded by MoPhe, and carried the resignation of Police Officer John Ryan, taking effect October let, was~cepted. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Magyar1 and carried, E. W. Boynton was appointed a Police Officer to succeed John Ryan, r esigned.
