44 8ants Aha City Hall, Board met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by President Mitchell. Present, Trustees Tuhbs, Chapman, areenleaf, Dale In Re Permit Chae.L.Davis aaa Tanks City Directories In Re Petition to pave Shelton St. River control In Re Permit to close Shelton St. In Re Bide paving school property on West 2nd ~t. In Re Dry cleaning locations The application of Cha~.L.Davis for a permit to install two gasoline tanks 280 capacity, and one 120 gal. under sidewalk at 6th and Broadway was granted on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman under the super- vision of the Fire Chief. On motion of Trustee Chapman duly seconded by Tubbs, the Clerk was instructed to subscribe for two City Direotorys at $6.50 each. A petition signed by a majority of the property owners on Shelton St. between ~th and 5th Ste. asking that said portion of street he paved under Specifications revised was granted on motion of Trustee Tuhbe, duly seconded by Chapman and carried. A communication from the Tri Counties Yeforestation committee stating that a meeting would be held at the Stand Theatre Anaheim, Oot.~th,l~lS, 10:30 a,m. On motion of Trustee areenleaf, duly seconded hy Dale the invitation was accepted and ordered placed on file. On motion of Trustee Tuhbe, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, Wells & B~eesler were granted permission to close Shklton Sts. between ~th and 5th St. in order to pave said portion of street. On motion o~ T£ustee Tubbs, duly seconded by areenleaf the Clerk was instructed to open bide received for paving school property on West 2nd St. One bid being received, that of ~ella & Bressler at the following prices: Item 1. For grading roadway, etc. 9 cts. Item 2. Concrete gutter ~ ln.thiok,l~ ~ per sq.ft. Item ~. All concrete gutter ~ thick 18¢ per sq.ft. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, ~uly seconded by areenleaf the bid was accepted and City Attorney a~thorlzed to draw up the necessary contract for same. On motion of Trustee areenleaf duly seconded by Dale and carried the matter of the locatio~ of a couple of dry cleaning establishmen~was referred to a committee of the whole.
