44 <br /> <br />8ants Aha City Hall, <br /> <br />Board met in regular adjourned session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by President Mitchell. <br /> <br />Present, Trustees Tuhbs, Chapman, areenleaf, Dale <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Permit Chae.L.Davis <br /> <br />aaa Tanks <br /> <br />City Directories <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition to pave Shelton St. <br /> <br />River control <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Permit to close Shelton St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bide paving school property <br /> <br />on West 2nd ~t. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Dry cleaning locations <br /> <br />The application of Cha~.L.Davis for a permit to install <br />two gasoline tanks 280 capacity, and one 120 gal. under <br />sidewalk at 6th and Broadway was granted on motion of <br />Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman under the super- <br />vision of the Fire Chief. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Chapman duly seconded by Tubbs, the <br /> Clerk was instructed to subscribe for two City Direotorys <br /> at $6.50 each. <br /> <br /> A petition signed by a majority of the property owners <br /> on Shelton St. between ~th and 5th Ste. asking that <br /> said portion of street he paved under Specifications <br /> revised was granted on motion of Trustee Tuhbe, duly <br /> seconded by Chapman and carried. <br /> <br /> A communication from the Tri Counties Yeforestation <br /> committee stating that a meeting would be held at the <br /> Stand Theatre Anaheim, Oot.~th,l~lS, 10:30 a,m. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee areenleaf, duly seconded hy Dale <br /> the invitation was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tuhbe, duly seconded by Chapman <br /> and carried, Wells & B~eesler were granted permission <br /> to close Shklton Sts. between ~th and 5th St. in order <br /> to pave said portion of street. <br /> <br />On motion o~ T£ustee Tubbs, duly seconded by areenleaf <br />the Clerk was instructed to open bide received for <br />paving school property on West 2nd St. One bid being <br />received, that of ~ella & Bressler at the following <br />prices: Item 1. For grading roadway, etc. 9 cts. <br /> <br />Item 2. Concrete gutter ~ ln.thiok,l~ ~ per sq.ft. <br />Item ~. All concrete gutter ~ thick 18¢ per sq.ft. <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, ~uly seconded by areenleaf <br />the bid was accepted and City Attorney a~thorlzed to <br />draw up the necessary contract for same. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee areenleaf duly seconded by Dale <br />and carried the matter of the locatio~ of a couple of <br />dry cleaning establishmen~was referred to a committee <br />of the whole. <br /> <br /> <br />
