Ordinances in conflict therewith, was given final marling and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf,duly seconded by Dale that same be adopted, passed hy the following vote to-wit: Ayes, Trustees Chapman, Dale, Greenleaf,and l/itohell. i~oes,Trus~ees None, Absent, Trustee Tuhbs. Chapman, Dale and Greenleaf. The request of Robert Rea public librarian at San Francisco, for a City Directory of this City was grants4 on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and carried, and the Clerk wa~ authorized to purchase a copy and have same mailed. T~e Bond of Guy J.Gravee for $500 with C.H.Ohapman and Paul Carnahan as sureties, for private contract for sidewalk and curbing, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale refer£ed to the Chair for aporoval when a new signature is secured in place of C.H.Ohapman, a city Trustee, being unable to qualify on same. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the Clerk was instructed to open bids received for the sale of City garbage, one bid being received that of Dr.C.E.Price for $2.16 per ton. Amount to be determined by average of 3 loads weighed at option of either the contractor or city. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf,duly seconded by Dale, the bid was accepted for one year starting Dso.let,1919. On motion o£ Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chepman and carried, the Clerk was instructed to open bide received for the City barn fertilizer and street sweepings, the following bids were opened: P.C. Edmunds, $175.00 for barn fertilizer at the City barn; A.Djlmyatt $2?5.00 for barn fertilizer and city street sweepings; Shelly Horton for street sweepings, same to be collected by the City for the term of one year$550.O0 for two years $1150.O0; for ~ years $1800.O0.
