Str~t from curb to curb would be accepted by the Board an~ petitioners <br /> <br />to remove t~rows of stumps. <br /> <br />Permit ~ope Elc. Co. <br /> <br />~n ~ <br />Rob~rtson Elc. Co. for per- <br />mission to hang ~ Electric signs at 117 East <br />5t~/113 E. 4th wac on motion of Trustee Tubbs <br />duly second by Chapman and carried, referred <br /> <br />tc the City Electrician with power to act. <br />. <br />On motion of T~ustee Greenleaf duly second by <br /> <br />Chapman and carried, the application of Wm. <br /> <br />Blner and Wm. Wood for a permit to give Boxing <br /> <br />Exhibitions in the Grand Opera House was refer- <br /> <br />red to the Police Committee. <br /> <br />The application of S. Pall and S. Ruben for <br />license to conduct a Junk dealers business at <br />1031 E~et 4th St., was ~n motion of Trustee <br />Chapman duly second by Greenle~f aha carried, <br />referred to the Police Committee. <br /> <br />A communication from E. L. Crawf~ d, cashier <br /> <br />of Calif. Nmtional Bank, stating that they <br />would like to be favored with a reply in ref- <br />erence to their application made to the City <br />Treasurer for a deposit of City Funds up to an <br />amount not exceeding $50,OOO.O0, =gracing to ~ay <br />the prescribe rate of interest and to secure <br />the loan with Liberty Bonds of the United States <br />as ia required by law.
