Present: Trustees Tubbe, Chapman, Dale & Greenleaf In Re Chamber of Commerce Pertaining to W. Santa Clara and Hannah Streets In Re Permit granted 0. L. Simpson In Re Application Repair Shop Tom Robinson In Re Application- A1Fogel Winter ~arden JaZz Dance In Re Committee Report on A~pllcation~rf J.~D.'Petere A communication from the Chamber of Commerce calling the Board's attention to thefaot that while M~in Street ia being improved, it is highly important that West 8ants Olara Ave. and Hanna~ Streets to the City Limits be kept in u good a condition aa possible, also suggesting that the matter he taken up with the County Supervisors to see thattthat portion of the Street outside of the City Limits leading South from Chapman Ave. is put in better condition. Oh motion of Trustee Dale duly tsoonded by Tubbs and carried, the mat- ter w&e referred to the St. Commielioner with power to act. O~ motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Chap- man and carried, G. L. Simpson was granted a per- mit to conduct a fruit stand in the east end of Otto Hahns Auto Parking Ground~ on Main Street- between Znd and ~rd Streets. The application of Tom Robinson for permission to conduct an Auto Repair Shop at lZ16 W. ~th ~treet wu, on motion of Tr~ee ?ubbs, duly seconded by Dale and carried, referred to a committee. Truste, Tubhs and Dale being appointed an luoh committee. The application of A1Fogel to conduct Winter Garden Jazz Dances, twice a week in Athletic Hall ~rd and Spu~eon, was on m~tlon of Trustee Dale duly ,eoonded by Chapman and carried, referred ~o the Police Committee. The committee a~pointed in reference to the aPpli. Oa~ion of J. D. Peterl for a permit to oondu~t a lunch wagon at the N. W. Corner cf ~th and French Street reported unfavorable e~d on motion of Trustee Tubhs duly seconded by Chapman and care ried, the request was denied.
