Hearing In Re New St. Lights In Re Permit- David McLeod Pipe Line Tn Re Permits to hang Electric A communication from W. C. Jerome, County Auditor notify- ing the Board that the Assessed Valuation as assessed by the County Assessor and shown on the Assessment Rolls of the County for the year 1921-22 to be $9,?17,875.OO ex- o2usive of operative property and soldier's exemptions and is the valuation upon which to set the tax rate. On motioz of Trustee Greenl~af duly seconded by D~.e sad carried, the notice was accepted and ordered planed on file. Notice from the State Ry. Commission in reference to the matter of the applicatl$n of the Pacific Electric Ry. for an order granting permission to i~reaee rates and to establish Just and reasonable rates for the transportation of ps, eons and property. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and carried, City Attorney Scott was in- structed t~ attend this meeting.which is to ~e held in the Court Room of theCommiesion, gl0 Pacific Finance Bldg., ~o, Angeles at 10: A. M. Sept. 27th, 1921. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf dulE eeconded by Tubbe and carried, news treat lights, hung center suspension were ordered installed on Shelton, between 6th and Rickey amd 16th and Burant Streets In the matter of tbs application of David ~cLeod for per- mission to install a 10" pipe line across Bristol. Street Just south of let St. for irrigation purposes was granted under the supervision of the City Engineer, on motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried to be below the grade in order not to interferon the paving of Bristol Street. On motion of Trustee Dale duly seconded by Chapman and carried, C. w. Rowland was granted permission to hanS all electric sign for Brown &Bow]es on Bush & 5th Cts. and the Roberteon Electric Company, granted tbs same to hans electric eigns at 414 & 312 N. Main St.
