Knox. <br /> <br />Xn Re <br /> <br />Resolution of <br /> <br />Award, Flower St., <br /> <br />Paving 4th & 5th Sts. <br /> <br />appointed as such Committee. <br /> <br />The demand of the Orange County ~ngineering and Con- <br />st~uction Company for $500.00 for street work on 18th <br />east of French ~treet was on motion of Trustee Ohapma: <br />seconded by ~illen, referred back to the ~treet ~uper <br /> <br />intendent to be taken up st next <br />proper notations on same. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Killen, <br /> <br />Finance meeting with <br /> <br />seconded by Mol'bee and <br /> <br />carried, President J. W. Tubbs and City Engineer W.G <br />Enox were granted two weeks leave of absence. <br /> <br />This being the time and place fixed for the opening <br />of bids or proposals for the work ordered done and <br />improvement made upon and along a portion of that o' <br />public street in the City of Santa Ana com~nonly <br />aa N. Fl~eP Street, briefly described in Resolution <br />of Intention No. 1034 and ordered done by Resolution <br />No. 1051 and the Board being duly convened in open <br />session proceeded to and did publicly open, exa~tine <br />and declare all bids received. <br /> <br />Bide were received as follows: <br /> <br />Item 1. The regrading to a sub-grade and the la~ng <br />of five (5)inch concrete pavement with belt finish <br />wearing surface, complete with the furnishing of all <br />necessary equipment and material on an estimate of <br />99?8 square feet. <br /> <br />Item 2. The construction of concrete curb complete <br />with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, <br />and material on an estimate of 280 linear feet. <br /> <br /> 0gleeby and Dahl <br /> <br /> Wells & Breasler <br />The Board of Trustees <br /> <br /> ~tem 1.-- .22~ Item ~.--. <br /> . ,, " ,, <br /> <br />thereupon rejected all bids <br /> <br />except the bid herein-afte~ mentioned a~ awarded <br />contl, aot for the improvement of a portion of <br /> <br />Street to 0gleaby and Dahl as the lowest responsible <br />bidders, at the price named in their bid. Trustee <br />Eillen introduced a resolution awarding the contract <br />to 0glesby and Dahl. ~ resolution was ordered <br />read, considered and designated Resolution of Award <br />No. 1059 and passed by the following vote& <br /> <br />Ayes: Trustees C.
