Company. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign, <br /> <br />Yost iheeter on <br /> <br />4th & Spurgeon Sts. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bid on <br /> <br />City Printing <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Chapman <br />the Robertson Electric Company were granted permtssiol <br />to hang an Electric Sign for the Huff Clothing Store, <br />109 W. 4th Street and Holgate's at 508~ N. Main Street <br />under the supervision of the Electi: Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Chapman <br />and carried, Abe Chozen was granted permission to con- <br />duct a Junk Dealer's place of Business at 1023 E. 4th <br />Street. Te~m of occupancy to be at pleasure of the <br />Board. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Chapman <br />and carried, ~ard ~utton was granted permission to con <br />duct an Oil Filling Service Station and cut the Curb <br />at 114 S. Main btreet, under the proper supervisions. <br /> <br />The Request of Chas Bevis for a permit to conduct an <br />Oil Filling Station in the Garage Building at N.~. <br />ncr of 1st and Sycamore Streets and place Gasoline <br />Tanks under ground in the parking with pump <br />inside Building, was granted, on motion of Trustee Cha <br />man, seconded by McPhee, and carried, under the super <br />vision of the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />A statement, from the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph <br />Company accompanied with a voucher showing the amount <br />of ~ranchlse Tax to be $2,580.22 for the year 1922-2~, <br />was accepted on motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by <br />Chapman and carried. The Clerk was instructed to de- <br />posit same with the City Treasurer to the proper <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Chapman <br />and carried, the Yost Theater was granted a permit to <br />bang an Electric Sign across 4th Street at Spurgeon, <br />under the supervision of the City Electrician. <br /> <br /> This being the date set for receiving bids on City <br /> <br /> Printing and Advertising, the Clerk was instructed on <br /> <br />motion of Trustee Chapman, <br />all bids received for City <br />bids were opened: Gilbert <br /> <br />seconded by McPhee to open <br />Printing. The following <br /> <br />P. Campbell, who bid as <br /> <br />follows: Water Receipts per 100-- .17~. Order of <br />Deposits per 100-- $Z.40. City Warrants per 100-- <br /> <br />~S1.15.
