218 Santa Asa City Hall. May 19th, 1924. ~:50 P. Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by President Tubbs. Present: Trustees Geo. McPhee, E. B. Collier, Nat H. Neff, J. W. Tubbs. Absent: Trustee C.H.Chapman. Minutes of May 5th and lZth approved as read. In Re Permit Jr. Chamber ~:~f Commerce. 0n motion of Trustee McPhee, seobhded ~ Chapman and carried, ~unior Cl~amber of Corse roe was granted W r- mission to hang advertising banner across Main St. butween ~rd and 4th Sas. under supervision of Building Inspector. InRe Application C. Bondley. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by l~eff carried,' application of C. Bondle~ for permission to install eev01ving barber pole at 109 West ThUd Street was referred to a Com~ittee, Trustee MoPhee being appointed as such Committee. In Re Permit Pauley Oil Co. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded b2 ~o~en and carried, Pauley 0il Company was ~ranted permission to replace two small sam a~ tank~ with 1000 gallon tank at 601 West Fourth Street, under a~rper~isi~nn~ Fire in Re Minutes Planning Commission. ~hief. # 9~ motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by Collier and carried, min~es 6f P]anning Commission meeting of ~-y 16th were accepted and placed on file for future reference, In Re Proposed widening ~&tet~l Street. On motion of Trustee MoPhee, seconded b2 ~eff and carried, matter of proposed widening ~f Bristol Street was referred to the Boar~ as a Committee of the ~ ole to go over district Saturday V:~O A. M. May ~4th, 1~4. On motion of Trustee ~eff, seconded by MoPhee end carrie~ the Clerk was instructed to notif~ the Santa Ana Valley Irrigation Company to have representative on hand to go over with the Board proposed district involved in widening of Bristol Street. A protest was p~.esented against the paving of a portio of EaS~ Santa Clara Ave. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by l~e~f and cern. led, protest was referred to the Engineer for checking.
