A. lin~ r for the collec- tion of trash and rubbish for the a~ount of $1~00,00 per month and city to pertiei~te in revenue from sale of paper On motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by MePhee end carried, proposition was referred to a Committee to investigate and repo~t: Trustees Neff and Collier were appointed as such Comittee. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Chapman end carrie, Trustee McPhee was authoriaed to have roof of 0ity Hall cleaned end painted at expense of approximately $1~5.00. On motion of Trustee MoPhee, seconded by Co,liar and osrr~d, motion of Boe~. in ordering ~vement of Baker St. 38 feet in width was rescinded. On motion of Trustee MePhee, seconded by Collier ar~ carrie 'City Engineer and Attorney were instructed to steps to~ahe Ba~er Street 00 ft. in width fx~a~eet Ei~ to ~aata Clara. # On motio~ of Trustee Neff, seconded by McPhee and carried, petition for paving ~ashington Avenue from Loeell to Artes~a Street was referred back to petitioners for more eignatures. On motion of Trustee MoPhee, seconded by Chapman and petiti~ for pavement of Wes~ Sixth Street ~ro~ Pacif~ to Artesia was referred to the W~er Su~ rintendent for one week. On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by Neff and carried Water Superintendent was authoriaed to have shed and buildin~ housing old pump and well en South Bristol St~ee removed to City yards. On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by Collier end carried, W~er ~uperintendent was authorized to pt~rehase table for use in W~ter Office.
